Ottawa - On Thursday, February 26, 2015, Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Senator Thanh Hai Ngo were pleased to meet Hung Vu and Lan Ton who wrote the song “Thank you, Canada” to mark the 40th anniversary of the arrival of Vietnamese Boat People to Canada. The Prime Minister thanked the couple, and recognized the tremendous contributions of the Vietnamese community to building a strong, prosperous, pluralistic and free Canada.
