On June 12, 2018, the Vietnamese National Assembly passed a controversial cyber security law that would require giant tech companies like Facebook, Google, Twitter, LinkedIn, Apple and Samsung to share the personal data of users in Vietnam. There is now no safe place left in Vietnam for people to speak freely. I am proud to support this petition by the Alliance for Democracy in Vietnam. PLEASE SIGN AND SHARE THIS PETITION TO PROTECT ONLINE FREEDOM AND FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION IN VIETNAM Thank you for your support, Senator Thanh Hai Ngo 613-943-1599 thanhhai.ngo@sen.parl.gc.ca senatorngo.ca @SenatorNgo |
