FREE HOMEWORK HELP PROGRAM! STEPS!

STEPS -  Study To Enhance Personal Success
The Vietnamese Canadian Community of Ottawa (VCCO) in partnership with The Vietnamese Students Association of the University of Ottawa (VSA) will be launching “STEPS”, a homework club this April 2011.  “STEPS” will be targeted towards students in grades 7 to 9 and will be piloted for two months before being reviewed for the following school year. 

The goal of the program is to provide free homework help to students who are interested.  Our volunteer homework helpers are made up of a combination of University students and young working professionals and are capable of providing homework help on a variety of subject matter.  Ultimately, the homework helpers will work closely with the students to support progress in the academic careers. 

Program details:
“STEPS” Homework club for grades 7, 8 and 9
Location:
University of Ottawa (See Calendar)
Time:
Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m
(April 3rd to June 19th, 2011)
Cost: FREE

**Please note: no program on Easter (April 24th) and Victoria Day (May 22nd).
