Cộng Đồng Người Việt Ottawa hân hạnh giới thiệu Họa Sĩ Nguyễn An Cô Nguyễn An sử dụng màu sắc rực rỡ và bố cục phức tạp để minh họa cho những nhịp điệu và niềm vui của cuộc sống hiện đại. Lấy cảm hứng từ những chuyến du lịch đó đây và tình yêu âm nhạc của cô, những bức tranh trừu tượng lập thể của cô nắm bắt các khái niệm âm nhạc về nhịp và nhịp trong chuyển động của dòng chất lỏng và hình dạng thay đổi của chúng. Những khoảnh khắc đơn giản của cuộc sống hàng ngày được biến đổi trong các bức tranh của cô thông qua sự hội tụ của âm nhạc và văn hóa, trong khi các yếu tố chủ đề của nhạc jazz và kiến trúc đô thị đan xen trong suốt tác phẩm của cô. An Nguyễn học ngành mỹ thuật tại Đại học Waterloo và được dạy bởi nghệ sĩ người Guatemala, Sergio A. Solorzano. Cô lấy cảm hứng từ công việc của các nghệ sĩ hiện đại như Joseph Holston và Stuart Davis. Những bức tranh của cô đã được giới thiệu trong các nhà hàng địa phương và các địa điểm công cộng trên khắp Ottawa, Ontario, nơi cô hiện đang cư trú. An sinh ra ở Sài Gòn, Việt Nam, sau ngày 30 tháng Tư cô đã đến tị nạn tại Ottawa, Canada. Cô là mẹ của cặp song sinh và kết hôn với một nhạc sĩ nhạc jazz, người thường xuyên biểu diễn như một phần của cộng đồng nhạc jazz Ottawa. Họa Sĩ Nguyễn An sẽ có một buổi triển lãm tranh vẽ của cô vào ngày 25 tháng Bảy năm 2019, tại Phòng triễn lãm Trinity Phòng A, Trung Tâm nghệ Thuật Shenkman số 245 Centrum Boulevard, Ottawa  Dear Vietnamese Canadian Community of Ottawa, My name is An Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese Canadian visual artist who lives in Ottawa. An Nguyen MEDIA RELEASE: The Ottawa community is invited to “Play,” a solo art exhibition running from July 25th to August 27, 2019 at the Shenkman Arts Center (Trinity Gallery, Salon A). This art show features over 20 paintings of jazz musicians and cityscapes from around the world and investigates the connection between music and travel. Each painting is inspired by a jazz song forming an overall playlist for the art show.
